Education should never be a struggle

Education should never be a struggle — it should be a pathway to hope and opportunity.

As part of our commitment to improving learning environments, the Kome Wells Foundation paid a courtesy and inspection visit to St. Michael College, Ule. The visit aimed to assess the school’s condition, interact with the students, and identify areas where support is urgently needed.

We discovered several challenges — abandoned and dilapidated classroom buildings, non-functional toilets and wash facilities, and students in need of basic learning tools such as phones and study materials.

This visit opened our eyes to the realities faced by many students daily and strengthened our resolve to take action. The Foundation will be working closely with the school to see how we can step in to restore, rebuild, and support.
